Challenge
Fragmented training across research sites
Each Chicago Biomedical Consortium lab kept its own binders, PDFs, and brown-bag recordings. When regulators requested proof of training, teams spent days piecing together sign-in sheets, and onboarding stretched far longer than planned. Leadership couldn’t guarantee every site followed the latest safety protocols.
The organization needed a sustainable way to align training across research partners while preserving the depth required for lab work. They wanted the precision of simulations, the accountability of reminders, and the confidence that every role was covered.
Solution
One hub for compliance and simulation
We consolidated SOP refreshers, Storyline simulations, and role-specific playlists into a single LMS experience. Learners practiced high-risk procedures inside interactive scenarios, downloaded job aids for the bench, and received nudges whenever credentials were at risk of expiring.
Dashboards gave administrators a real-time snapshot of audit readiness. Instead of scrambling before inspections, teams could identify a gap weeks in advance and assign booster modules immediately. Compliance stopped being a fire drill and became part of daily operations.
